The T Shank also known as the Bosch Shank, Universal Shank or Bayonet Shank is now the most popular end fitting for jigsaw blades and can be used with the following makes of machines: AEG (Atlas Copco), Boasch, Elu, Flex, Hitachi, Holz-Her, Lenox, Mafell, Makita, Metabo, Milwaukee and Sparky.
The Black and Decker end fitting as the name suggests was first designed by Black and Decker for use with their Jigsaw Blade Machines. This end fitting is also used by Kress, Ryobi, Skil, Stayer and Wolf. However the newer models of Black and Decker Jigsaw Blade Machines now use the T Shank, so please refer to your machine manual or previous blade for the suitable end fitting.
Again as the name suggests this Jigsaw Blade end fitting is for use with Makita Jigsaw Blades Machines. The more recent machines may us the T shank end fitting so please refer to your machine manual or previous blades to select the correct end fitting.
